Host Regional Training for Other Agencies at Your Facility

Partnering with Code 4 to bring training to your employees or region is very easy. We make things simple for you. We cover the financial and much of the logistics for producing a training event. The overall costs are spread across the individual tuition paid for the attendees. Look at the information below and let us know exactly what you would like to do.

Cosponsors with Training Facilities
My organization would like to partner with Code 4 to bring training to our region.
We have a small or large facility for hosting.

Code 4 is always looking for partners to host our training. Our biggest needs to make a successful training session:

1. A facility that holds 60-75 people comfortably (Coffee is part of the planning as well as we can bring grounds/cups).
2. Parking is important as well. Generally we require free parking to make it easy on attendees.
3. A partner that can send out state/regional notices AND emails letting others know the training is scheduled.
4. We will generally ask for help with getting the necessary POST or other state certification for the course.
5. Someone from your agency to introduce the instructor the day of training.
We then give you free seats in exchange for your partnering with us. We will generally give you 4 free seats if you provide a facility and send out monthly notices to the region/state and emails to reach our minimum number of attendees needed to pay the costs of the course. As the number of attendees goes higher (generally when we reach 100 attendees), we will give you more free seats.

Cosponsors Sending Training Notices Only
My organization would like to partner with Code 4 to bring training to our region.
We do not have a training room or our training room will not seat the needed 50- 75 student minimum.

Code 4 is always looking for partners to host our training. Sometimes we prefer a local conference room at a hotel or civic center or you may not have a training room. To make a partnership with you and your agency successful we would generally ask for the following help from you:

1. We may ask for your helping connecting to a local facility (motel, civic center), but we will pay the cost.
2. We would then ask you to help send out statewide notices/ emails and help us get the word out on the course.
3. We would ask your help in putting the word out via training calendars.
4. We might ask for help getting the logistics of coffee handled - we can bring grounds/cups.
5. We will generally ask for help with getting the necessary POST or other state certification for the course.
6. Someone from your agency to introduce the instructor the day of training.
We then give you free seats in exchange for your partnering with us. We will generally give you 3 free seats if you

As the number of attendees goes higher (generally when we reach 100 attendees), we will give you more free seats.

Financial Cosponsors
We are always looking for event sponsors to help us meet the ever increasing costs of these training events. If you would like to sponsor a training event for our public safety, criminal justice, fire or government personnel please email Joe at information@code4.org. Sponsorships of door prizes, coffee, snacks or event sponsorships are available for corporate or personal recognition.

Please note that this is the best way to submit requests for training partnership. You should also know that our staff is generally planning course between 4 months and 12 months from the current date, we will respond to your requests as soon as possible, and we generally meet to review your requests once monthly. We appreciate your patience on any of these planning matters.
